I’ve been making a wound salve with coconut oil, raw honey and tea tree oil and using it with great success! I cut the tip of my thumb off a few years ago and slathered that on a couple times a day covering it with a bandage and it never got infected or inflamed. Healed beautifully with hardly a scar. I have family members who have used it too on deep cuts and had the same results.

I don’t measure, but the recipe is approximately 2 Tablespoons coconut oil, 1 Tablespoon of honey and about 4 drops of tea tree oil. I know it’s not very “herby” but too good not to share! 🙂

I like that combination. I love plantain as well. Pulls out the poison!
