Doc, you’ve answered me separately about whether your plants are organic, grown organically but not certified, or grown conventionally, but asked me to post here so others can see your answer.  Thank you for putting my mind at ease, and I would have done it the same way as you if I were in your garden!

Everything we grow is grown without chemical, pesticides, herbicides, nuclear waste or other artificial tasty additives.

We haven’t jumped through the bureaucratic hoops to make the legal claim “organic” but we’re plenty fussy enough to qualify if we weren’t too lazy to do the paperwork and too cantankerous to want government oversight and monitoring of our farm.

We also buy some herbs because we can’t keep up with ourselves. We try to only buy from organic growers but can’t make any guarantees about what other folks are doing on their own operations.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Amen to “too cantankerous to want government oversight and monitoring of our farm”!  I think MANY here would agree with you on that point.  I certainly don’t want them poking around in my business, and I don’t even have anything for them to poke around in!
