Hey! I’m wondering if anyone here has purchased the HGH suture kit. Are these real tools it comes with? Or are they just for practice? Of course, would not plan to use it unless in an apocalypse situations. 🙂 Is it expected to use any pain killer if someone had to use this? Or are the needles sharp enough that in an emergency, a few little pricks would be fine? Just trying to figure out why one would buy this kit. Also, it seemed that Doc was more positive toward absorbable suture but this says non-absorbable suture. Not sure why… But would love to hear more about this if anyone has bought it or has any knowledge.

They aren’t high-end professional instruments but are more than adequate for basic procedures. Exactly the sort of thing I used for years sewing up dogs. There isn’t a good herbal local anesthetic. In the absence of lidocaine, we’ll be back to the traditional technique of biting a stick and wishing the guy would sew a little faster.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
