I’m a grandma of 14 and a retired Montessori teacher who is living my dream of residing with my husband in a beautiful mountain valley. I’m surrounded by a number of healing plants, and am able to grow quite a few as well, even though our elevation is 6800 feet. My herbal interest and knowledge has increased over the years by study of books and observation of native plants. In 2006 I was able to complete a Masters of Herbology course that fulfilled a long held dream of mine.

Currently, I am very involved in my community in emergency preparedness and give lectures on native plants and their healing effects. I also write about local plants on a community blog. It is interesting how few people share my passion for natural healing, so I’m extremely grateful to join all of you as we explore the protocols of herbal healing together!
