my husband has never been allergic to a thing in his life, but he’s got hives all over his arms, feet, hands and even his lips swelled up last night. its been 36 hours since it first started. we are thinking its a reaction to the grass and hay… as he does hay crops as a living in the summer time. been doing it for years.. why is it bothering him and what can I do for him??

Has your husband had any illnesses or insults to his immune system lately?

So he did get sick with the gastro flu roughly a week AFTER he first got hives (as a reaction to the grass).. and then a couple weeks after getting sick he got hives again (reaction to the hay).

Do you think it would be the virus that caused this reaction?

Maybe the hives were the precursor to the gastric flu symptoms. It sounds like his body is just not happy right now.
