Hi Doc!
I know the root and leaves are medicinal in hollyhocks. Are the stems and flowers also medicinal?

The root has the most mucilage but the leaf and flower have some as well. The stems are too fibrous to have much medicine.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
