Hypothetical discussion only, how can you treat with herbs during an episode? Not one of the overpriced race or jumping horses, so surgery is not an option, just a mare on a farm. Diagnosis (guess) is gas or compaction, not tortion or sand, or does it matter? A question came up in the equine 1st aid class, can a horse benefit from herbs or drugs via an enema?
