Doc has said on the plant walks that most plants are typically good for a couple of years. I ordered Uva ursi from Mountain Rose Herbs and asked for the information on when it was harvested. It is 2.5 years old. Would you still use it? Will it still do what it’s supposed to do? I sure wish I had a LOT more plants growing on my property:)

Uva ursi will probably still work. It’s main ingredient is tannins which are pretty stable.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Thanks Doc! How long would you say it’s generally good for?

Yup, HomeGrown! is best. I have 2+ year old stuff that looks, smells and tastes better than stuff we just bought from herb sellers.
