Hello Y’all!   I am so excited to be here and to get started on this new healing journey.   Herbalism and Traditional Chinese Medicine have been an interest for me for a very long time.    I just recently graduated as a nutritional therapy practitioner and feel that this course will expand my repertoire as a health advocate.  I am a big fan of Dr Jones!

Congratulations on your recent graduation!  I’m sure this class will definitely help in expanding your health knowledge.

I’ve been through Splendora many times.  I love the tall pine trees!  I grew up and lived in Houston for most of my life.  🙂

Welcome! I’m glad you mentioned pine trees. I just watched the lesson on pine trees, and made a terrific lotion from some pine. I learned it all here.

I just saw something about the pine trees too.  Do you have a link for the class?     I just moved from South Dakota back in March and brought some white pine needles with me, but they did not make it.  I hope these Texas pines will work for something more that storing tree roaches.  😀

I found the lesson under “Individual Plant Lessons” that are in alphabetical order. (mostly) Pine tree medicine is amazing.

                                Pine (Pinus spp.)

Pine needles are great!  There are a few varieties here in Texas that I’ve heard can be poisonous.  You have to count the needles to know, I think.  Do some research.  I HATE tree roaches!  They are the only bug that really freak me out!  LOL  Be sure to keep all the trees near your home, trimmed away from your roof.  That will help.

I can’t wait to get further into the classes.  I signed up almost two weeks ago and I’m still working my way through the first section.  🙂
