Hello! I just can’t tell you how thrilled I am to be here. I’m a SAHM of several, and I homeschool in the Indy suburbs, alongside my high school sweetheart. I discovered herbalism about a year and a half ago, and it woke up a passion in me that I didn’t even know was sleeping! I tend to learn with a vengeance, and in looking back, I’m shocked how much I’ve done so – even my relatives have noticed :). Doc Jones has been a major source of inspiration in these first steps of my herbal journey, and I’m so excited to learn more over the course of however much life on this earth I have left!

Some of my particular interests are in knowing and using what’s locally forgeable to me for good medicines, crafting a functional herbal medicine cabinet for my family, being capable in emergency situations, and making stellar herbal tea blends.

Tickled pink to be studying here among you all!!

OH YEAH, and gardening! 2023 was the year I *finally* started to care about gardening. (Before that, I only cared about eating tomatoes grown from the garden, but I hardly did any of the work to produce them.) I have so little experience and so much I’d like to learn about it!!

Hello fellow Hoosier 🙂 I’m a little north of Indy around Daleville. I just signed up for this course in December, but have been looking forward to it for quite some time and have been dabbling in herbs for a few years now. As you begin your gardening journey, I’d like to recommend the book “Carrots Love Tomatoes” to you. It’s a good resource for many things, but particularly companion planting. I got mine on Amazon. Take care.
