I have been away from participation for a few years while establishing ourselves in a new area. We have not been idle though. We have been establishing our own apothecary and developing local relationships. What we have found is that traditional medicine is VERY wanted and needed by many. Rejected by others.
We are learning what plants are growing in our area. Some are familiar, others new to us. Due to the small size of our property wildcrafting will be important.
We have been focusing on growing as many plants for our use as we can that cannot be wildcrafted. That is a tough task having moved from over 1 acre to a .17 acre plot that is mostly house and concrete. We have made progress though.
Times, they are a changin’. IT IS TIME TO DIG IN AGAIN.
