StudentHi all, long-time lurker, first time poster, just had a question on dental health:
We’ve got Doc Jones’ formula for teeth which includes horsetail, and have been using that on and off as we felt necessary (not too frequently), but my wife’s found out she has some small cavities and is trying to heal them before they need filling.
We’re getting rid of the sugars in the household and planning to return to a Keto-adjacent diet, but we wanted to know if anyone else has found some good resources for good tooth-regrowing, oral microbiome-boosting diets to follow while also using horsetail. Any ideas?
(As an aside, I’ve also heard about something called Lumina probiotic, which claims to be a genetically modified version of a particular oral bacteria, in that it doesn’t produce tooth-decaying acids. We’re on the fence on that, since it sounds so odd, is expensive, is experimental, and has a long wait list, but if anyone here’s had experience with that, I’d love to hear it!)
Thanks all! : )

StudentVery recently, I found Zellies (Dr Ellie the dentist) who explains very well how xylitol offers the right bacteria what it needs, while starving the bad – and how this can remineralize our cavities (we just got all the stuff and started this “protocol” about 2 weeks ago, and have found some good things already). Go to zellies dot com and look for several of the xylitol or “no dental cleaning” type videos – hope this helps! We will be seeing our dentist next month, so we wanted to “jump start” this and see if they notice any differences. I wasn’t blessed with great teeth, so cavities are fairly common for me – but to be honest, if I never had to see another dentist the rest of my life, that would be just fine!

StudentHello, I’ve been using using Doc Jones Strong Bone tincture and to help with teeth & bones. I believe it’s helping my teeth feel stronger. I also use a toothpaste (Pearl Oral Health) that I noticed has helped as well. It contains silica plus other ingredients that help to reverse the demineralization of teeth. I’ve had my share of dental challenges so I’m excited to learn more about dental health. Liked the post about Zellies, thanks Sharon!
