Incision not wanting to close

Hi there, I have a friend that is been struggling after her foot surgery. She had a metal rod implanted in her big toe and the incision can’t close, she went to have it looked at and they re did the stitching hoping that will stop the infection and that the wound will close. I remember Doc Jones mentioning something about a poultice that works on healing wounds just can’t remember the products he used to make this tinture- poultice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello Maria,

I just saw this post today. Sorry it’s so long in coming. Check out the Wound Management lessons for your friends issue. Also the metal rod could be too large or she might have some sort of allergic reaction to it so that the tissue surrounding it will not heal. She also might have an infection in it. Hopefully by this time the issue has been resolved.
