Hi David, I know Japanese Knotweed has been discussed in the forum so you might find more information on that thread but what I had shared was that it is an “invasive weed” where the root is the medicine (so God made it prolific on purpose;).  Where the root is the medicine, it is usually best to wait a couple years before harvesting to get good medicinal value. Japanese Knotweed is high in Resveratrol which makes it useful with Lyme protocol (Buhner) and a cytokine inhibitor (Doc Jones shared in the Forum that it is a good alternative to Grape Leaf for this purpose, see Cytokine Balance formula). I have used it in supplemental form following the Lyme protocol … and there is lots of clinical studies on the value of Resveratrol.  I hope you found this helpful 🙂

I’ll do a lesson on it. Good plant.

As Dawn said, its resveratrol is good for cytokine storms and other inflammations in general  and is helpful in Lymes protocols too.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
