So, what are some other unmentionables?

          Puncture vine/goathead

          Burr Buttercup

          Kochia

Any others? Once we get a decent list Patrick and I can maybe write a blog on them and their benefits.

            THIS JUST IN

            Russian Olive:

not only that it is nitrogen fixing as well.

I just remembered one of Patrick’s mantras:

Everything has medicinal value :scared: , we just don’t know what it is YET! :poke:

Yesss!!! I knew it!! Everything God made IS good! ALL things that come from the earth are good…. for the benefit and use of man, both to please the eye and gladden the heart” No wonder morning glory/bind weed makes me feel happy! And you mention russian olive… are those supposed to be bad too?!!! Gosh, one of my best friends is a Russian olive tree that I’ve been climbing every summer since I was young….er 😉 I feel happy, safe and loved in the arms of that tree!!! Haha Serious weed problem…..? Pshhh… whatever!

Have you guys started that blog you mentioned above yet? You should! Someone needs to unvillify God’s amazing creations!! 🙂

I think I linked to an article on the Olive (not really an olive) as well.

They are not as bad a “weed” as the piss elms (siberian elms) are. But we believe that they are a close analog to Slippery Elm. Experimentation to be conducted.

Cute picture too, especially the bottom one. 🙂

I’ve been using fresh, green Siberian elm seeds for anything you’d use marshmallow for all spring. Works great.
