Hi. My name is Karen Schroeder. Many times I will speak for myself but sometimes my husband pipes in and so I will post his comments too from time to time…and when I do, I will sign his name so you’ll know it wasn’t me who made the typically silly or sarcastic-like comments. I’d say they would be more facetious than sarcastic…but be aware, dh’s humor is very dry. Some will get his comments and others won’t…after 20+ years of marriage to this man I have become quite adept at translating his “speak”. So please feel to ask anytime you get confused.

I warn all far and wide now…I am an opinionated woman. I am blunt. I will not “pussyfoot” around an issue. Some will not like my approach. Some may even take offense. Please be assured I never mean to purposely offend. I am not very adept socially. I have heard many say they like how I present myself because at least they know where I stand on any particular issue. I suggest you go with that assessment. 🙂

I’m actually very shy one on one. But put me in front of a crowd and I shine. I know…weird. But true. I actually do have a soft heart. I am a first born child so I tend to naturally protect the “under dog”, tend to be organized (I mean REALLY organized…it’s a dis-ease), and I might come across as “bossy”. I don’t mean to be but as a first born I have had to do a lot of teaching and “raising” of younger siblings…so I step into the “mother” role easily. Please forgive me if I do and you find it irritating…I again don’t mean to offend. And certainly, if and when I do offend…I have big feet, and they do often find my mouth…please do come to me and let’s discuss it. I certainly would want to apologize to you.

Anyway, I think this is a good start. Please don’t be too shy…I’m an open book and am not afraid to discuss any topic…although I am not knowledgeable in quite a few topics so just a heads up. So glad to be here and hope to have some wonderful conversations with many…and perhaps share wisdom in both directions. I have tons I’d love to share…

Oh, I guess it would be helpful to know that I’m a certified lymphologist and massage therapist. I recently completed my family herbalist training and should be well on my way to Master Herbalist training and certification. I didn’t start out to become a healer but after much soul searching, fasting and prayer, was told that this was the purpose I was sent to earth…so here I am on this path…

Wow, I can’t believe I missed this one for so long. I have seen some of your posts on the forum, but not for quite some time now. 🙁
