Best herbs for lower functioning kidney due to scarring. I have read a lot about diuretic effect in certain herbs but not about helping kidney function. I see the kidney builder as well on the site.

I have been infusing chamomile and astragalus as well as echinacea root+tops in tea. (just now in the beginning process of learning about herbs and loving It!!)

I also currently have mono (was just tested ugh) any advice on herbs for mono would be greatly appreciated!!

There are two categories of herbs that impact the kidneys. Kidney tonics tend to be diuretics (make you pee more) and are good for infections, stones etc…

Kidney restoratives heal and nourish the kidneys. THat’s what your after.
