We just took our black lab Ridge to the vet – he was scheduled to be neutered.  They took blood work prior to the surgery to make sure everything was good.  We got a call from the vet stating they are unable to do surgery due to the results of his bloodwork.  The vet told us his kindneys are only functioning at about 25% and his life expectancy is 1-2 more years.  We have not noticed any changes in Ridge’s behavior, diet or water consumption.   The vet said only thing we can do for him is put him on a special diet.

Are there any herbs that would be beneficial or helpful to improve his condition?

We have an elderly cat who has kidney failure. We put her on Doc’s Kidney formula that he sells for humans. She seems to be doing better with that. She was having symptoms from her kidney problems and those have pretty much resolved. We need to take her back to the vet to have more bloodwork done to see if there is changes for the better they can prove with bloodwork.

My daughter’s dog has just been diagnosed with kidney failure, stage 1. Hope someone can help with some possible herb treatment? Please.
