Is there ever a situation that an older gal might need Mellow Mommy formula? It mentions stress and mineral issues, but could those also be present for us older ladies who seem to be chronically stressed (wiped out adrenals seem to prove that point). If Mellow Mommy isn’t a good fit, what might be other than the General Stress and Adrenal Support?
And about Lemon Balm: I’m the one who has the “odd” thyroid issue so I don’t know if Lemon Balm is ok or not for me. I’ll refresh on the thyroid issue (from my naturopath): “Your thyroid levels showed good but your Reverse T3 was really high indicating a stress and adrenal problem that is affecting how your body makes T3. When you are stressed and/or your adrenals are burned out your body will make more Reverse T3 and less T3 and this will slow down your metabolism. So you do not have a low functioning thyroid which makes T4. The problem is how that T4 is is converted into T3 and Reverse T3.” I would really like to know how my issue is categorized (low, high, whatever)… Thanks as always.

What are your T4 and T3 levels?

I’ve got some numbers for you though none of it makes any sense to me!
T3 = 1.1, T3f = 2.64, T4 = 9.5, T4f = 1.17, rT3 = 27, t3/rT3 = 4.33, TSH = 0.84. A1C info: HGB A1C = 5.6, and “e AVE GLUC” = 114.0. Additionally that I’m sure will make sense to you, but not me: “Thyroglobulin, tumor marker, IA, S” = 7.2 and then there are 2 entries for “Lymphs” – one is 15.8, and the other is 0.87.
Too much information? I may not know how to interpret all this, but I was told that one thing affects (or helps diagnose) another. Thank you for taking time to look at this and help me figure out what I need to take or do to make some of these things look better and function better. You are a jewel among men and are a kind human!

So what kind of a “diagnosis” do all those things mean?
Do I take all those formulas together at the same time (1/2 tsp twice a day for the tincture, and 1-2 tsp twice a day for the powders)? I also feel the need to start the leaky gut protocol, so add that to the above and do all 4 together? If so, I assume I temporarily suspend the use of other tinctures for the time I’m on the 3 you mentioned above (about how long should I do all 3 of these)? Thank you very much, and I pray you and your family have a blessed CHRISTmas!

Bumping this post. So what kind of a “diagnosis” do all those numbers mean and is my thyroid ok to use lemon balm (I know it is a “downer” for the thyroid if I remember correctly)?
You mentioned taking General Stress, Nutritive, and Digestive PreBiotic. I am currently taking the first two, but not the Prebiotic. I will be starting the herbal cleanse (as soon as you get one in stock for hubby to join me) then I will follow that cleanse with the Leaky Gut Protocol. Oh the fun that is in store around here!! LOL Anyway, should I use these three WITH the cleanse and LGP (along with the suggested Plantain), or discontinue something while doing the 13 weeks or so of cleanse/protocol? I use the Nutrative in my chia shake with nut milk, orange juice and dandelion root – is this “shake” ok to use thru the cleanse/protocol programs? It keeps me regular and gets herbs down me at the same time!
How do these 3 suggested remedies help with my oddball numbers? What are we “fixing” with those herbs? I also take a few “tonic” type tinctures daily – should I continue with those thru the cleanse/LGP or discontinue them as well? Sorry for so many questions – but hubby and I are both doing well with your herbs and the way you teach us to use them – this is a really big deal when we are in our “golden years”! Thank you for everything 🙂

If you’re going to do a leaky gut protocol, I’d start those herbs afterward. All three of those formulas can be taken together.
