Hope someone can help me.  My cat has been sleeping for the last 18 hours and feels warm to the touch but I haven’t yet stuck a thermometer up his butt.  Doc says tincturing a cat is near impossible but he won’t eat anything so getting dry herbs in him is not really an option.  I have IMMUNITY SUPPORT and INFXN and a bunch of homemade tinctures and herbs.  i was thinking of diluting the infxn tincture in either a yarrow or elderflower tea and attempting to administer with an eye dropper.  He is about 10 pounds.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have been able to slip some things my cats find unpalletable by pureeing chicken in rich bone broth and putting just a little bit in with a nice glob of the chicken puree, though I have not yet tried a tincture. However, this evening my kitty was diagnosed with feline asthma. I wondered if I used a glycerine tincture using Doc Jones’ Respiratory AZMA formula if I could get him to eat it in the chicken puree.

However, making a glycerine tincture will take a little time, and your sweet kitty sounds like he needs something now. I hope you can get some good medicin into him.

Those tinctures would likely help. Sometimes you can mix them with a little baby food and syringe them in. Sometimes you just have to syringe them in.

Hi. New here. I have a lethargic cat. She’s been gone for 4 days. Drank lots of water about 15 hours ago. Won’t touch any food. Been sleeping all day. She cried a bit and staggered a bit when I tried to reach for her . It’s been very cold out. She’s probably dehydrated. Will syringe some electrolytes in water. Anything else I should do for her in the next 12 hours? Hopefully she’s just gathering strength. Tia.
