My girly (8 year old, female, Shepherd mix of some sort) had a 4 lb. lipoma removed 3 years ago. Over the past year, it grew back, very aggressively and she had to have surgery again this week to remove what we expected to be another hefty lipoma.
Unfortunately, our vet suspects that the lipoma has somehow mutated into a liposarcoma or something similar and the “fat” has spread around most of her lower organs and spine. Because of the spread, they were unable to remove all of it and her abdominal muscle wall is very thin, so future surgery will likely not be an option.
She’s currently healing from the pretty extensive surgery, but, does anyone know of any herbal options to reduce this fat growth somehow? Or at least slow down the progression of it?
