Please point me in the direction to learn more about this and the possible toxicity to dogs. I had no idea until stumbling on it here.

Here’s what happened: My dog came in from outside and was acting odd and sluggish. She threw up. She followed me around while I was trying to figure out what was wrong and clean up the vomit. Then, she just laid on her side and was basically unresponsive. Her gums were white and somewhat foamy. Her breathing was shallow. I was scared and panicked, to me, she was dying! Yarrow came to mind so I gave her a dropperful of that. No change. I remembered reading ” lobelia knows what to do” so I gave her a few drops and she started coming around. All happening in a matter of 20 minutes maybe, I’m not positive. I thought I did the right thing because Mocha steady got better and back to normal. Now, after reading lobelia can be toxic, I don’t know what to think but I need to know in case that happens again.
