StudentMy sister, Beth, had Covid almost a year ago and is still struggling with fatigue every day. I am new to the class, so I’m not sure what to recommend to her to take herbally. She has been to the doctor, but the prescription he put her on isn’t helping anymore. Has anyone had experience with this? Suggestions?

Homestead InstructorHiCheryl,
Sorry she’s feeling lousy. Have a look at this blog article I wrote. Lots of ideas there.
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

StudentThanks for the article.
I had COVID a year ago, and still struggle with the side effects. I’ve made a tincture based on the suggestions in the article.
A raw diet also helped tremendously, though it can be expensive. After 2 months of 80% raw food (fruit, nuts, and seeds in the morning and a huge salad with dandelion leaves, purslane, and other good stuff for lunch, plus my typical meat and potatoes as the 20% cooked), I finally got the rest of my sense of smell back.?
A doctor told a friend that COVID likes to wake sleeping illness, especially autoimmune. So I’m treating myself with herbs that help leaky gut, autoimmune, and hyperthyroidism.

StudentThat’s a GREAT article and LOADS of great things to do for our bodies! Thank you for laying it all out so simple. Unrelated question Doc, are your herbs grown organically or conventional. I know there are no certifications, just wondering about the growing methods you use. If this was mentioned elsewhere, I apologize, I’m still combing thru the various articles and lessons! Bless you and all your family and staff this special holy season!

Homestead InstructorHi Sharon,
This should be in a new thread in the gardening section. Go start a thread over there and I’ll talk all about it.
That way more folks will see it and benefit or chime in. :0)
