the lotion I made is separating, and I am looking for advice. I used double boiler, herbs, coconut oil (solid kind), beeswax and a tea made from herbs. used emersion blender to get the bejeebers out 🙂 . it looked perfect until the next morning when it began separating. I reheated it thinking maybe the beeswax wasn’t fully melted- same result. reheated it again… this time blending every minute until mixture was completely cool- not sure yet if ill have separation or not yet. sure would appreciate any advice- I was careful about my measurements

I was having that issue and then I used 1/2 cup of infused herbs in water, after I strained it to 1 cup of oil with 1.25 oz of beeswax melted into the oil in a double boiler and that keeps it together for me

thank you I will try that. Does the lotion feel light and silky or still oily or waxy?
