I have a question on meadowsweet.  In the meadowsweet a.k.a. spirea quickview in the plant monograph section it shows pictures of what appears to be two different plants.  One looks like a perinneal and the other (page 5) looks just like a shrub I have growing in my yard, snowmound spirea (spiraea nipponica).  Is the spiraea nipponica the same medicinally, like poplar, aspen and willow trees or am I just confused?

Both of those species are pretty good anti-inflammatories

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
