Can someone help me to distinguish between Juniper and Cedar and if they are the same medicinally?

Taken from the Cedar Berry Quickview “Herbalist Dr. John Christopher had a client with urinary tract issues to whom he recommended juniper berries. The client mistakenly took cedar berries instead. The client, a diabetic, found the cedar berries helped to lower his insulin dosage level to control his blood sugars. Dr. Christopher continued to use cedar berries on diabetics with great success. Juniper also has some beneficial effects on blood sugar but cedar is much better.”

In the overview of both, the herbal actions have some variance

Cedar Berry: Anti-inflammatory, Diaphoretic, Expectorant, Astringent, Anti-microbial, Diuretic, Anti-asthmatic, Antifungal, and antiviral, properties which stimulate the immune system, cleanse the lymph system detoxifying agent for the expulsion of toxins from the system.

          Juniper: Antilithic, antibacterial, antiviral, diuretic

Greg, Does Doctor Jones use Cedar in any of his formulas? (Is there a quick way to find out?)  Thank you in advance.

He sure does! He uses them in his Pancreas – Blood Sugar formulas

To find out, I just went to the search tools in the school, and did a lesson content search for Cedar and looked at the slides that came up
