I have been treating my cats with ear mites cause of the scratching and shaking his head. His ears get really dirty within 3-4 days. I have also noticed that he seems not to respond to noises. I have heard of a dog once that lost hearing from ear mites. Could my cat have hearing loss from ear mites? Is it true about the dog? I can’t figure out why he’d lose hearing unless its his age, which is around 14.
