I need answers following 2 questions:

        1. What vitamin deficiency causes burning mouth syndrome?

        2. Can vitamin D deficiency cause burning mouth syndrome?

I don’t know much about it. There are several things that correlate with it but no one has been able to prove anything.

          I don’t know anything about a vitamin D connection.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

            Thanks, DOc for your reply.

I am still struggling to solve this.

I have had burning mouth syndrome for about 3 years. The only thing that I have found that helps me is B12. I take the quick dissolve 5000 mcg. It reduces the symptoms. My mouth still has a slight burning, tingling and my taste is still affected – but it no longer feels like an intense burn.
