I’m wondering about my cayenne tincture.  I used some 110K HU powder along with some that was “supposed” to be stronger (though we doubt it was).  When I finished and pressed it, the powder still had A LOT of heat left in it.  Should I just pour it all (processed tincture and “presumably still viable” powder) together back in a jar and continue for longer?

I’d guess the tincture had a lot of heat in it too. No reason to re-process the powder. What you have will be plenty zingy.

Thanks. It’s not that I was “intending” to make the tincture zingy-er, but just trying to come up with a good use for the zingy powder that was left (almost a quart jar)!
