My dog also has a cyst on her neck, I would imagine one on her foot would be worse because your dog probably always licks it and is bothered by it. My dog is virtually not bothered by her cyst, but people are because they feel it when they pet her and are repelled by the lump which has gotten quite large and then one day it was gone which freaked us out. It is starting to build back up again. I listened to a natural youtube dr. who said you can put castor oil on it, put a warm wash cloth on it daily, also diluted w carrier oil and tea tree oil on it. Going to give it a try. Will be watching the forum to see if anything shows up on here to help us help our furry friends.

This may be an Interdigital Furuncle, they can be caused by an ingrown hair or foreign body in the hair follicles of the paw followed by a subsequent bacterial infection. When our dogs got these we would take them to the beach, run them in the sea water and they healed more rapidly. If you dont live near the Sea then salt water bathing of all paws is a second best. Our latest dog had these because we have pea shingle in our drive which the small stones adversely affects their paws. We popped paving slabs in the common routes he walks which took away the irritations caused by the stones. Please do not put oil on it, if its a bacterial infection it may make it worse and Eo’s can be detrimental to dogs health.
