Wondering what anyone can tell me about myasthenia gravis and herbal interventions.

All I know is it is caused by nerves and muscles not communicating (if that’s even accurate), and it involves involuntary muscle groups.

I have a friend in her 60s who went from very vibrant to potato.  She has so much muscular pain that she opts to just sit idle.

Thinking through it, my mind keeps yelling Teasel, but it just might be teasing.  Nerve and pain formulas?  What is the approach to this?  I suspect she has dis-ease about something in general, as her mom is in final stages of alzheimers and the kids are flown and grown.  Her husband is so supportive though, and he’s who asked me if there was anything at all that might be of help to her.

Any discussion is welcome, including helping think through the approach.  She is a few hours away, so kinetic testing and such aren’t options.  Thanks so much, my friends!

myasthenia gravis is usually the result of autoimmune disease. I’ve not tried teasel for that but it would be high on my list of things to try. I’d also strongly consider Rehmannia.

Have a look at this lesson too for other autoimmune disease approaches.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
