My son son just had is second surgery to get his nasal polyps removed. They get so bad he cannot breath through his nose and he loses his taste. He has been on steroids for so many years. That is the only thing that would sort of slow them down.   The Drs say that his allergies, asthma and nasal polyps just feed off of one another and it’s a vicious cycle. They are getting ready to put him on Dupixent. Has anyone had any kind of success using herbs in a similar situation?

There are some good herbs for helping with allergies. Brigham tea and nettles are two of my favorites. Burdock and other cholegogues can help too.

I’ve just re-done a whole new series of lessons on the immune system in the body systems section. They’ll be up tomorrow. Have a look at the third lesson on Allergies, Autoimmune Disease & Leaky Gut  for some interventions for allergies.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Thank you Doc. I will definitely take a look. Have to start somewhere.
