        Will using a strong herbal with strong antibacterial properties kill off the needed bacteria with the bad?

          That is pretty true for most cases. I think (not for sure) there are a few exceptions though. Patrick is more familiar with that than I am right now. For topical applications I do not believe it is quite as critical. It is the gut you need to be particularly aware of what is happening.

            Many of the good gut bacteria are susceptible to powerful antibiotic herbs just as they would be to pharmaceutical antibiotics.

            All such should be used judiciously and followed with probiotics and pre-biotics.

            Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
