Good evening, everyone! I am Jack Shultz. I am from North Central Arkansas. I am married to a wonderful lady, and together we have two children who are now in their 30s. I am here hopefully to learn more about herbs (I say herbs and my wife says herbs. lol!)
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing great. I definitely feel better about learning herbal medicine and therapies through a course I feel I can count on.
Regards
Jack

Hi everyone. My name is Diana and this is my first time at using a forum or anything of this sort. I have wanted to take this course for a couple years but wasn’t sure i would be able to figure this all out. I have been married 48 years and been blessed with 2 children and 8 grandchildren. I homeschooled my kids for 8 years and it was one the best decisions i ever made. I would love to find a way to feel better and to help anyone else along the way with the new knowledge i hope to gain from this class.

Welcome Diana, I am new here as well. I see that you were a homeschool parent. I am currently homeschooling my own and teaching through a co-op. I think I will be learning some great things to share with my students.

Hey, so glad to have found this course! I’ve been interested in this since I was a kid and now I am finally following through! I’m excited because my two oldest grandkids have recently become aware of just how much this played a part in history and asking if I will be their herbal teacher. (We homeschool :D)

HI Teresa. I ditched Western Medicine as much as possible 50 years ago but still have a lot to learn. Its nice to hear from others on why they are taking this course. I’ve used herbs most of my adult life but never really studied about them. Excited to get started along with all the rest of the newbies.

Hello everyone, I’ve been interested in plants and natural healing and wildcrafting forever. My mom was “Coach Nature-Walking” every summer while she taught high school biology, and I soaked it in! I passed my love for wild edibles and growing things to my kids (5 of them), as well as the very limited herbal medicinal stuff I knew…. plantain for bee stings, onion juice for ear aches, Jewel weed for poison ivy. I have a small homestead with a cow and calf, chickens, rabbits, dogs and gardens. I homeschooled my kids for 22 years and now have the time to learn more. I’m so excited to study herbal medicine here!

New here as well and anxious to learn all I can about plants and herbs to help family and friends! Plus the bonus of having other passionate learners to chat with! I’m afraid I overload my family and friends with what I’m learning!

Another newbie to add to the ranks.
I’m Lori-Ann. I have always been a gardener, and interested in plants. My family currently lives on almost an acre and we homestead what we can. Every new skill is a step closer to the goal, so here I am. We raise animals too, so hoping to learn some veterinary uses as well. Especially for cats and poultry!

So nice to hear that you and other RNs are here, broadening your education of the true “traditional” medicine. You will be a blessing to others with your knowledge of both worlds.

Hi Teresa, I’m just getting on board with this program. I happened upon Dr. Jones on Youtube and was so refreshed to find someone teaching herbalism without a witchy or mother earthy bent to it! I hope that for the most part you and your family can ditch western medicine and take control of your health with things you can grow. Happy learning!

Hi Teresa, first thank you for your service and sacrifice as a RN, I think it is great that you are continuing your education and chose to focus on natural healing. I too am a mother of 4 and grandmother of 4 too.
