We just rescued what we are told to be a 4 month old mini labradoodle one week ago.  She is 25 pounds already so not sure how accurate that info is!  She was spayed the day before we got her.  Over all she’s doing really well.  There are two issues.

        1. She goes to the bathroom but will only pee about twice a day (this has been an issue since we got her).  She doesn’t seem to be in pain, is very playful, no swelling/redness at incision.  She drinks normally, loves to go outside, and when she does pee it seems like a normal to high amount. Any herbs to help?

        2. She didn’t eat much the first few days which we were told is normal.  I’d like to transition her to a raw food dies-not asking opinions on that, we know the benefits!  The problem is she won’t touch the raw food.  If I give her kibble, she will eat it.  Any herbs/suggestions to help this process?

          Hi Wanda,

Congrats on the new wagger. If she’s 25 pounds, I promise she’s older than 4 months.

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about or treat either of those situations with herbs. As long as she’s peeing a couple of times a day and is helathy and happy, she’s fine. Soe kids just have bigger bladders than others. Other pups are able to pee faster than mom can notice. LOL.

As to the feed change, mix a small amount of the new diet with her kibble. Add a bit more each day until you’ve weaned her off.

Congrats on the new pup. Sounds like she’s got a good home. :0)

Thank you for the reply!  We’ve tried adding some raw to the kibble.  She won’t touch any of it when we do that!  Any idea how we can tell how old she is?
