StudentHi everybody, greetings from East TN. I am also a new student, a little nervous to learn to use this learning format, as I am very much “old school”. But will give all this technology a shot, so y’all bear with me as I muddle through. I’ve been dabbling with herbs for a few years, and am a retired ER nurse; so I’m very excited to learn formally and put it all together.

Dr. Patrick Jones
Homestead InstructorWelcome ladies. We’re glad you’re here. If you have any troubles at all getting around let us know.
Also, if there is content you’d like to have, holler. This school is an organic growing thing and I’m happy to get input on what folks would like to learn.

StudentI have been signed up for 3 months and I am really enjoying learning about the herbs and the body systems and how they work together to help the body function and heal with a little help from the herbs that God has put here to bless us. I have always dabbled in herb making and growing but already have learned so much more than I knew before. Thank you Dr. Jones and all your helpers that make this course available to us that are trying to learn and will be able to help ourselves as well as our families and others that may be interested in finding better ways to heal than popping pills that mask symptoms instead of getting to the cause of sickness. I love learning this valuable information. Thanks again. Gwen Wilson

StudentHello, I am also a new student. It’s nice to know that someone living in the same part of the country is taking the courses too. I actually, live in GA, just barley across the TN state line. I love it in the south. When there is a plant walk that Doc. does in his part of the country, maybe we can have one here to practice!

Homestead InstructorHi Debbie. We’re glad you’re here. I don’t know when I’ll get to GA. Maybe someday. The folks in Australia and South Africa want me to come too. Kangaroos and elephants are fun. But I don’t know that they can compete with really good peaches. :0)

StudentHi Kathleen! I, too, am old school technology. Even the enrollment process and the ensuing email instructions were enough to count as my ‘learn something new’ moment for the day. I am looking forward to learning and growing with everyone here.

StudentHi Kathleen. 🙂 My name is Debbie, and I am also retired, but from NW Indiana, not eastern TN. Glad I am not the only old-timer trying to get organized and official with my herbs. Already looking forward to spring and being able to harvest dandelions and much more. 🙂 Glad so many people are interested in a common sense, economical, doable approach to health. Thank you, Doc Jones, for offering this so affordably. God Bless Everyone, Debbie Schreiber
