Greetings to all. I just started here and exited to learn with you and trying my best to grow a garden and ultimately a food forest 😀 in AZ. I am from Arizona too. We have been here 7 years and have applied permaculture principles on our half acre. I must admit it hasnt been an easy row to hoe however our yard is the greenest in the area. The heat is the biggest problem and the water and bugs the next two. Because we live in an area where they grow a lot of cotton we deal also with the overspray of the field chemicals. We have learned to deal with these problems and are still learning and trying new things. Always happy to hear new ideas of how to deal with our challenges.
