New Student, Where do I begin?

Hello, I am a new student to the Homegrown Herbalism Academy online course. Is there a recommended procedure for starting the courses? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would log in to the course and just start at the beginning with the Getting Started lesson. As you start, it seems to me that it kind of walks you through it, so it makes it pretty easy to see where to go next.

I echo what Teresa said.  Start at the beginning.  As you delve into the gross anatomy section, some of those lessons are several hours long.  If I don’t have the time or attention span for a super long lesson, I may skip down to one of the shorter lessons, in the Medicine Making section, or a plant monograph.  I also enjoy watching Doc’s You Tube videos, some of which are long, and some short.

I’d start with the Learning the Lingo lesson in the General Herbalism section. Once you have a little vocabulary, you can do everything else in any order you like. :0)

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
