I just joined, it has taken me two hours to figure out how to start a new topic.  I am very excited for this learning opportunity so I shall persevere 😉

Sooooo, it is 100% my fault why I couldn’t find it.

I am not new, I enrolled 3 years ago (using “Canvas” as this site wasn’t created yet) but knew back then that I would not be able to study regularly due to my medical (and family) situation (in short). For that reason, I decided to start from the beginning and in doing so, I overlooked the “How to use the Homegrown Herbalist student forum” which gives the steps to post.

Step 1: Navigate to the forum

Step 2: Choose/Navigate to a relevant sub-forum that you want to create your topic in

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page. Here you will see the dialogue box to create a new submission. Fill it out and format it however you please, and hit “submit”

I can’t figure out how to make a new post and it’s frustrating. I’ve had a few struggles with this new site, although I do appreciate it and the hard work everyone has put in it, I want to be able to participate and learn here too. I’m stuck and can’t move forward. I don’t want to mark as “complete” but might have to in order to move forward and then come back to this if I can.

I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Yeah, its taken a minute for me to figure out too.  Guess I just have to start somewhere and try to learn by doing.   I also wasn’t raised in the “computer era” so there is a learning curve.  So excited to learn all I can from these modules though. 🙂

I’m glad you found it. I haven’t yet.

I guess it’s good that we can go at our own pace here. I’m ready to call the children in to help me navigate my computer. I will be learning way more than I planned on.

I am new as well. Not good with computers, but I really want to learn. So here I am.
