I have learned about herbs for a long time but the actual using them is intimidating to me and have yet to put knowledge to use. So, thus my question; How do I know how to prepare the herbs Dr. Jones lists?

Well it all depends on what you want to do with them. The thing most people do regularly is to make a tea out of them. Here’s how I make my teas: first off, all of my herbs are in a powder form (I dried them and then put them in a blender to get them to that state) so I bought some unbleached tea bags off of amazon. So depending on what I want, I take a teaspoon of the herb and put it into the bag and pour hot water over it until it fills my cup. Once it’s full, I’ll usually put a saucer or small plate on top of it to keep any of the oils from evaporating while the tea steeps. Usually after about 15ish minutes, I’ll come back and my tea is ready for my enjoyment! I recommend you check out this series of lessons in the course for more information, but that should be enough confidence to get you started in the wonderful art of making your own herbal remedies!
