Doc, I just watched your lower intestine module and found out what an appendix is for (maybe all the MD’s out there should watch it)!  So many years ago, I had a hysterectomy and of course, they removed the “useless” appendix because “that’s just smart medicine to remove it so it will never have a chance to rupture” – DUH!  So is there something special one should do to help the body with what it’s missing now due to yet another case of “clueless doctors”?  Rather ticks me off that they took it out “to be safe” when it was a perfectly fine organ that should have stayed – but water under the bridge now.  Thank you 🙂
