Hi everyone! Excited to start my learning journey with you all! I live in Northern Minnesota, pretty much on the Canadian border in a remote area. My husband and I run a non profit, where we teach kids wilderness skills, confidence, foraging, and create community while enjoying the outdoors. I also have been using herbal remedies and making them for quiet a few years.  I ended up being really sick through most of my teens and 20’s, and now after a long journey going the  naturopathic route, clean eating, etc, I’m finally healthy enough to do something more with my life than being sick. I’m looking to start some college next fall or the following year as well, and am interested in Dietary with an herbal focus, or something in the herbalism field or outdoors education. (Kicked around many ideas, like ethnobotany, herbal formulation/chemistry, western herbalism, etc, but desire to work with people directly and not in a lab, etc.)  Still trying to figure things out. I was drawn to Doc Jones program by his sense of humor, knowledge, and way of sharing, and hope learn more from you all as well! Thanks for your time!
