        Any shroomologists here?  Does it look like turkeytails to you?  Found ’em on the property this year.

          Well I can say with certainty that it’s not a Morel. I’m not much good at field identification of mushrooms beyond that. It’s probably something I should work on. LOL

          Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

            Hi KB, When identifying true turkey tail, the underside is white and has pores ::: not gills |||.  Older ones go yellowish, so pass on those.  The underside of false turkey tails are red/tan/brown and violet toothed polypores are, well, violet.  Based on your photo its a good chance you found true turkey tails.  Best to take your time and built knowledge, and there’s lots of mushroom identifying video/websites.  Sometimes white/yellow/tan are too close to distinguish.  It was my spouse’s photographic hobby for a decade before we began harvesting absolutely obvious mushrooms, like morels : ).
