Old dog having trouble walking

Our blue heeler is 10 years old and still insists on running off every stray dog that she sees on the farm.

But lately if she walks to far she starts to whine and cry and when we get to the house she just lays down and won’t get up unless we make her.

I have been giving her about a tsp. of burdock , comfrey and 2-3 drops of poppy tincture, once or twice a day.

Any suggestions on what more to give her?
