After studying the pancreas module for a few days, I have a few questions:
Could you explain the relationship of fat to what you said in the module: “insulin regulates carbohydrate and fat metabolism by enabling cells to absorb glucose from the blood?” What is fat’s role here? The answer might be in the sentence but somehow I’m not getting it:/
Because a dose of flax is so large, can ground flax and powdered burdock be taken at the same time as each other and other herbs or do they bind up other herbs due to their demulcent properties (similar to how marshmallow binds)?
Where do whole grains (staff of life) fit into the principle of balancing 2 big handfuls leafy greens, thumb-size fats, and palm-size protein?
