My 4 year old milk cow had bloat trouble two days ago. She has recovered from bloat, but laid down and now cannot seem to get up. Her back legs seem completely paralyzed. This morning she ate and drank for the first time since yesterday morning. We’ve been trying to physically move her legs as much as we can (they are tucked up under her) and rubbing her to help with blood flow. I’m not sure if there would be herbs that might help her with this? Thanks!

Another thought that we just had is thiamine deficiency, maybe brought about by the stress from bloating? I’m reading that ginger, thyme and rosemary have thiamine in them, so going to make a tea drench with those three. Any other thoughts appreciated. 🙂
