Has anyone made a Pau D’Arc tincture? It is a bark from Brazil I believe and I’m not certain of the oil content. My Dr. in Mexico has prescribed this for us, he is an MD turned Natural Remedies Dr. I want to make the tincture using a 40% Alcohol. My reason for the tincture is that we are drinking a lot of another natural product during this treatment and it would be way too much to drink the Pau D’Arc as a tea.

I use pau d’ arco. I just use vodka to tincture it (80 or 100 proof).
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
