I was just lamenting the fact that it seems everyone is taking some form of pharmaceutical for some issue or another and I have no idea if something I recommend will go against that when I remembered that Doc just posted a blog article about that very thing. I just want to say thank you so much Doc for starting work on a new module on herb and pharmaceutical interaction! I can’t wait for it to be here in the school.

Until then though, does anyone have any books they would recommend to start learning about which herbs and pharmaceuticals interact with each other?

Agree with all that Greg said – and very thankful that Doc is doing this for the benefit of those concerned (or SHOULD be concerned) with the potential interactions!  THANK YOU DOC!

Hi Greg, and Happy New Year!   Doc has a recommended book list on the school site and in it is listed 2 books that I bought and like a lot. They are the American Herbal Products Association’s Botantical Safety Handbook (2nd just came out, very extensive) and the Herbal Contraindications and Drug Interactions plus Herbal Adjuncts with Medicines. They are very informative. Plus, I think you already know about RxList.com for a free online resource (that may include a lot of “potential” interactions that are unwarranted; but, I think it is worth a looksee).  I hope that is helpful until Doc releases his new webinar on the subject.
