StudentI’m trying to find what was talked about in a blog post. Could someone tell me the title of the lesson this blog quote is referring to? Sorry I’m so dumb. I can’t find it, even with AI:/
“I and Dr. Brandon Rose (a Ph.D. Physiologist and one of our instructors) have decided to create a new section in The HomeGrown Herbalist School of Botanical Medicine on pharmaceuticals and how herbs interact with them so that our students can make good choices and recommendations and prevent problems with those they are healing.”

Homestead InstructorDr. Rose and I are working on it. It’s a huge and complex topic. I was crazy to start it. But being a crazy herbalist hasn’t ever seemed like a bad thing, so we’re pressing on.
It’ll likely be another month or two.
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

StudentWonderful to know it’s close. We normally don’t take any meds, but back in November, our new doc put us on a couple of things and told us to come back in January (as in several months ago), but I don’t want to go back until I find out if my new meds are playing nice with my herbs or not. Doc says: “Don’t use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.” Well, we don’t have a single health care provider anywhere near us that knows anything at all about herbs, much less the interaction between herbs and pharmaceuticals. So we are really anxious to see that course fire up and guide us. I cannot give up my herbals, so I just have to hope and pray that I’m doing no harm to myself!

StudentWhen I passed my test, I was doing an exercise program with a local doctor called “walk with a doc” When he found out I passed, he bought me a book, titled “Mosby’s Handbook of Herbs & Natural Supplements ” by Lunda Skidmore-Roth, it is pretty good, Just thought maybe Doc Jones would like to check it out
