Has anyone made Pineapple Sage Tincture?  If so can it be taken internally?  What is it used for?  Thanks

Salvia elegans (Pineapple sage) has some similar properties to its cousin Salvia officinalis (garden sage…turkey stuffing stuff).

Both are good for digestive issues. Both can help with brain health though S. officinalis is better for memory and S. elegans is a little better for mood regulation.

          Here are some good articles:

I grew Pineapple Sage a few years ago and just barely got it to flower before the first frost…it was a cool year. I was growing it for the flowers for the hummingbirds, so was a little disappointed. However, I discovered the fresh or dried leaves made a tasty tea. I wish it was a perennial herb here, but alas, no.

Good to know it has some medicinal value as well.
